Three Generations of beauty!

"Living life to it's fullest with integrity, passion and compassion" is a motto that Yvette Ludwig brings to all aspects of her life.  Yvette enjoys her marriage to Eric, a wonderful and supportive man and cherishes the moments she spends with her daughter Chelsea, the reigning Miss Petite America.  She also enjoys carrying the title of Ms. Woman Petite America with great honor as she represents the core of this country, today's married women.

As Marketing Director for Tricarico Architecture and Design PC, Yvette is able to creatively work as a team and apply her marketing and business development skills to brand the firm and position it for personal growth.  And her commitment to hard work doesn't end there.  She is a Certified Emergency Medical Technician and has been giving to her community by volunteering on the Wayne Township Memorial  First Aid Squad since February of 2000.  In addition, Yvette and her family support numerous organizations and are members of the Cedar Grove Elks Lodge #2237.

Yvette strives to live each day creatively, looking for the next adventure, looking for the next opportunity to speak, travel, influence others, and helping a worthwhile cause.  She looks to her family and to God for inspiration and believes that God guides us in a direction of self-worth if we are open to the possibilities.

A firm believer in helping people in need, Yvette's platform "Volunteer For Life" shows the importance of giving back to your community to change the quality of someone's life for the better.  She believes we can all make a positive difference - one day and one person at a time.

U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program
Mission: The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
Goal: The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.
Objectives: The objectives of Toys for Tots are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation's most valuable resources - our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.
Activities: The principal Toys for Tots activity which takes place each year is the collection and distribution of toys in the communities in which a Marine Corps Reserve Unit is located. In communities without a Reserve Unit, the campaign can be conducted by a Marine Corps League Detachment or group of men and women, generally veteran Marines, authorized by Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to conduct a local Toys for Tots campaign. Local Toys for Tots Campaign Coordinators conduct an array of activities throughout the year, which include golf tournaments, foot races, bicycle races and other voluntary events designed to increase interest in Toys for Tots, and concurrently generate toys and monetary donations.

A letter of thanks from the event organizers to our Petite America representatives!

The Valerie Fund's mission is to provide support for the comprehensive health care of children with cancer and blood disorders. The Valerie Fund is a not-for-profit organization established in 1976 in memory of nine-year-old Valerie Goldstein by her parents, Ed and Sue. Families turn to The Valerie Fund because of the unique combination of medical care, counseling, and other services it provides. The Valerie Fund Children's Centers comprise the largest network of healthcare facilities for children with cancer and blood disorders in New Jersey, and one of the largest in the nation. We host over 25,000 patient visits each year. Today there are seven Valerie Fund Children's Centers for Cancer and Blood Disorders located in major hospitals in New Jersey, New York, and the Philadelphia area providing caring, comprehensive, state-of-the-art outpatient health care to more than 5,000 children and their families each year. This network means that sick children are able to receive care close to their homes. Before The Valerie Fund, many childrensuch as Valerie Goldsteinhad to travel long distances because the treatment they needed was available only at major medical facilities located in large cities. At The Valerie Fund Centers, patients receive far more than treatment for their physical illnesses. Our philosophy is that to truly heal the children with whose care we are entrusted, we must treat them emotionally, socially, and developmentally, as well as medically. Childhood disease strikes not only the child, but the entire family. When a child is a patient at a Valerie Fund Center, a staff of social workers, counselors, psychologists, and child-life specialists enfold the child and the family in a blanket of ongoing, individualized care. We firmly believe this approach is the most effective way to fight childhood disease. For more information: www.thevaleriefund.org.
